How do I change out the Dyno Smartwatch watch bands?
The Dyno Smartwatch offers classic watch band design with spring bars, making it convenient for removing and changing the bands.
1. First remove the smartwatch from your child.
2. Then you’ll want to lay the watch on a flat surface.
3. Hold the watch module in one hand, while you hold one of the watch bands firmly in the other watch (closest to the watch module).
4. Next, slide the strap down towards the bottom end of the clasp and it should release one end. You should be able to slide the strap out and remove it from the other clasp.
5. Follow the same instructions above to remove the second strap.

Is the Dyno Smartwatch waterproof?
The Dyno Smartwatch is IP65 rated, which means its is both dirt and splash resistant. You should have your child remove their Dyno Smartwatch before getting in the pool, bathtub or shower.

What data do you collect from my child on the watch?
The Dyno Smartwatch is COPPA compliant and collects minimal data from your child, which includes child’s first name, nickname, step counts and location-related data required for service.

Simply launch the companion app, the default view is a map with the location of the device.

What is geo-fencing?
This feature lets you setup virtual perimeters around any area that you and your child may be like your home, school, or playground. You can then setup notifications and alerts if your child wanders outside fo these predefined boundaries.

We’ll walk you through this during the setup process. You’ll first be asked to enter your child’s name, then be prompted to pair their Dyno Smartwatch using the device (ICCIDD) number or by simply scanning the code that will show on the screen of the smartwatch.

How does the SOS feature work?
The Dyno smartwatch will notify and call the primary contact when the SOS feature is initiated. If no answer from the primary contact the watch will place a call to the local 911 operator.

How do I use my Coolpad as a Voice Recorder?
To use the voice recorder, tap the App icon from the home screen and scroll over to the Sound Recorder. Tap on the Sound Recorder and press record to start the recording. Press stop when you have finished recording and select “Use this recording” to save the file. Select “Discard” if you are unsatisfied with the recording.

How do I Uninstall an Application from my Coolpad?
Uninstalling Applications can be found under the Settings menu. From here you can enter the App tab. From here you can select the application you would like to uninstall. Tap on that application then tap Uninstall.

How do I set Alarms on my Coolpad?
To set up alarms on your Coolpad device you need to access the application menu by tapping App then select the Clock application. From here select the alarm clock in the bottom left corner. From here you can add and view alarms. After selecting to add an Alarm, select the time for the alarm and whether or not you want to repeat the alarm. You may enable other options to modify the alarm sounds and vibrations.

Can I Adjust the Screen Timeout on?
Yes you can adjust the screen timeout of the display. To do this, open the application menu then tap on Display. Select the “Sleep” icon to select the amount of time for inactivity before the screen turns off.

Can I Adjust the Screen Brightness on
The screen brightness display can be adjusted. To do this you need to enter the “Settings” menu. Tap on “Display” then adjust the brightness of the display to your liking. You can also select Automatically adjust Brightness.

Can I change the Wallpaper that is shown on my Coolpad?
Changing the Wallpaper is done by selecting the setting icon at the bottom left of the screen and tapping “Set wallpaper” icon. Here you can select the location of the image you want to use for the background. Note: By selecting a “live wallpaper,” battery will be drained faster.

What’s the Notification Light on the battery icon of my device, and what do the colors mean?
On the top-right corner of the front of your device, there is a battery indicator. The LED indicator notifies you of the different status of your battery. It is red when the battery level is critical, yellow when low, green when normal, and green with a charging symbol when charging.

How can I Extend Battery Life for my Coolpad?
To extend the battery life of your device, turn off all data connection(s) that you are not using. Make sure to stop all programs running in the background.

How do I install or remove the Battery Cover and Battery for my Coolpad?
To remove the battery cover run your fingernail from the bottom left of the phone around the device. This will remove the secure connection between your battery cover to the device. To install or remove the battery check pull up on the tab at the bottom of the battery and pull out the battery.

If you have your previous device “sync” with your google account, you can connect to the same google account to obtain all your old contacts back into your new device.

Many Android devices do support Exchange ActiveSync. On an Android device, go to Settings Accounts and Sync and look for either Exchange ActiveSync or Corporate Email.

You can change the keyboard settings on your device by opening the “Settings” menu then to “Language Keyboard” tab. From here you can select the type of keyboard you would like to change. You can also change it from the popup keyboard by holding on the alternate setting “123″ key.

How do I Access Voicemail on my Coolpad?
You can access your voicemail by tapping the phone icon. Hold down the number 1 and it will direct you to the voicemail.

How do I Create and Delete a Calendar Event on my Coolpad?
To create a calendar event on your mobile device, open the Calendar application and tap the date that you wish to add the event to then double tap the time. Input event information and click Done to finish. To delete an event enter the event then hit the menu button and select delete.

How do I Reset a forgotten Lock Pattern on my Coolpad?
If you forgot your device’s lock pattern, you can reset it using your Google™ Account credentials after failing to input the correct password after 5 times. Touch this option and follow up to unlock your phone.

How do I change the Haptic (Vibration) Feedback settings on my Coolpad?
Your mobile device can be configured to provide you with haptic feedback, using the device’s vibrate function. Instead of sounding a tone when you touch the screen and input is accepted, the device will provide short pulses of vibration that you can feel, indicating that the button has been pressed. This can be done through tapping “Settings” then “Sound.” Scroll down to the Vibrate on Touch and deselect it to remove Haptic Feedback.

Coolpad supports Accessibility options however you must download them from Google Play Store. To access these download accessibility options you should tap Settings Accessibility. From there you can enable or disable the accessibility features.

Front View of Your Phone Front View Earpiece: Allows you to hear the caller. Light and Proximity Sensors: Use the ambient light level to adjust keypad access. If the light path is blocked — for example, when holding the phone close to your ear — the touchscreen will turn off.

To increase the call volume, you can adjust the volume accordingly with the volume keys at the side of your phone. You may also adjust the volume in your settings.

How do I Reject an Incoming Call on my Coolpad
When receiving an incoming call on your mobile device, you have the option of rejecting the call and sending it to voicemail. You do reject the call by touching phone icon and sliding it to the left to red phone icon. You may also slide the phone icon up to reject and send a text to the caller.

Bluetooth pairing needs to be enabled. To do this, you need to access the Wireless Network settings from the “Settings” menu. From here enable Bluetooth and enter “Bluetooth” tab. Press the off tab on the top right of the screen to see available Bluetooth devices. Tap on the available devices to “Pair” with the Bluetooth device.

How do I connect my Coolpad to my computer for Tethering (use as a Wireless Modem)?
Your mobile device can be used as a wireless modem. You can share your device’s internet connection with your computer. When 4G is active, open the application menu and select the “4G Mobile Hotspot”, select “USB Tethering”, and wait for your computer to recognize your phone as a modem. You can also select “Portable Wi-Fi hotspot” to connect to other devices to your phone as a Wi-Fi hotspot

How do I insert or remove the microSD™ card in my Coolpad?
To insert or remove the microSD™ card into your Coolpad, slide your fingernail along the battery cover carefully to remove the battery cover. Pull out the battery then slide the cover of the microSD™ card slot to the right then pop up the cover and insert or remove the microSD™ card. After this close the slot by pressing down on the slot cover and shift it to the left to lock it.

Airplane Mode can be found by scrolling down the notification bar and tap the Airplane icon. This feature turns off all of your device’s wireless transmitting features, like Wi-Fi®, Bluetooth®, and the connection to your wireless service provider.

What are the different Indicator Icons on my Coolpad, and what do they mean?
Indicator icons display your current signal strength: the greater the number of bars, the stronger the signal. There is a display when your phone is downloading a file and an indicator to signify that Airplane Mode is active. If there is no indicator, calls and data connections cannot be made or received. It will also display the connection you are currently.

How Do I Take Pictures and Video With My Coolpad Mobile Device?
To take a picture from the Home screen, press the App tab then the Camera. Aim the camera accordingly and press the shutter button to take the picture. You can select the video camera icon to switch to the Camcorder mode. IF you would like to take a picture by the front camera press the camera icon with a rotation arrow. This icon will also shift the camera mode back to the rear camera.

This option works only on 4G however it must be provisioned by your carrier. This can be done by accessing the App tab from the home screen and selecting “4G mobile hotspot” icon. Enable Portable Wi-Fi hotspot then enter the settings to configure it. Select the Network SSID name and the password is the device’s MDN.

To find the IMEI number you can go to the “Settings” menu and select “About phone”. Select the “Status” tab after and scroll down to the IMEI number. You can also slide down the battery cover and remove the battery to find the IMEI number.
