Your mobile device can be used as a wireless modem. You can share your device’s internet connection with your computer. When 4G is active, open the application menu and select the “4G Mobile Hotspot”, select “USB Tethering”, and wait for your computer to recognize your phone as a modem. You can also select “Portable Wi-Fi hotspot” to connect to other devices to your phone as a Wi-Fi hotspot.

my coolpad is notworking correctly it opens .not the way i recognise, voice telling me to double tap to do this & that but nothing happens. next she says screen off.
cant reach setings, or key board.

I have been using the USB tethering to share my hotspot with my laptop with great success, but suddenly today that option is grayed out and doesn't work anymore. How do I update my phone so this option works again? I have found it more reliable, not to mention private, than using the wireless connection. Please advise!
