Coolpad Legacy Regional-Screenshot+Long-screenshot

I love that the Coolpad Legacy has a screenshot button right in the notification bar, and the features attached to it, except the Regional Screenshot and Long Screenshot options don't work properly. Selecting a region to screenshot makes the phone take a smaller screenshot with the whole screen squished into the small area you selected, instead of just capturing the selected area. The Long Screenshot works great in some apps, but doesn't work in web browsers (I use Firefox and Firefox Preview), where as soon as I hit to take a Long Screenshot, a region of text is automatically selected, turning the long Screenshot into just a normal screenshot with highlighted text. Is there a way to fix these issues? Is there a patch on the way?
