Can't connect smart TV to my Legacy hotspot,l

My phone was connected to my Samsung Smart (while watching a movie in Google Play ON MY SMART TV), then all of sudden it disconnected, and now u can't connect. I've tried to factory reset, called n they had me enter some number the phone again reset and will not connect still. I need help. I researched it in Google and YouTube. Please let's not insult my intelligence. I believe it's a phone GLICH that can't b fixed. Someone please help me

  Try to install FoxFi & PdaNet+ from the web in full premium. From third party the apps gives you options to use your phone as the modem and also hide the data usage from your carrier.
